The foundation of the rescue is our awesome

volunteers that open their hearts and homes to

the animals that are in need of a place to stay.  

The foster homes provide shelter, care, and love

until the animals are adopted into forever homes.

 

                                                            We are ALWAYS in need of foster homes.                                                                  The more homes we have, the more                                                                          animals we can save! The rescue provides                                                                  the supplies for the animals in care ... the                                                                  home just supplies the shelter and love.                                                                    The rescue receives donations of food,                                                                      litter, toys, treats and other supplies from a                                                              growing network of supporters.  The                                                                          rescue also pays for the vetting the animals                                                              receive while in foster care.  The funds for                                                                 the vetting come from adoption fees,                                                                       fundraisers, and tax deductible gifts.

 

If you would like to be a foster home, please send us your name and email through our contact page.  We will send you an application.  We will review your application and meet with you to perform a home check.

 

When you apply, you let us know what type(s) of animal(s) you are willing to foster.  When we are contacted about an animal that needs a foster home, we reach out to you to see if you would be willing to care for it.  You always are able to say "no, not at this time".  The primary requirement for foster homes, in addition to the obvious loving care for the animal, is to bring the animal to a minimum of one adoption event per month.  You are not required to stay at the event, although your presence can be a vital key to success for the animal finding a happy forever home.
